# 45. Share links that preview the page

Share a token, NFT collection, project or news post so the link shows its own name, text and artwork.

**Open:** the page you want to share, then use its **Share** button.

### Why use the Share button

A share link previews that page's own name, description and artwork when you post it on X, Telegram or Discord, then sends people straight to the page.

An address copied from the browser's address bar still works, but its preview shows the general SPAWN card and not the token's artwork.

### Share a page

1. Open the token, NFT collection, project or news post.
2. Press **Share**. On a phone the share sheet opens; on a computer the link is copied and the button shows **Link copied**.
3. Paste the link where you want to post it.

On a news post the button is **Copy article link**.

### Share with your referral code

On a token page, connect the wallet that has your Refer & Earn link and press **Copy my referral link**. It copies a share link with your code attached, so the preview shows the token and eligible referred trades can be attributed under the Refer & Earn rules.

### Troubleshooting

| Symptom                                  | What to do                                                                   |
| ---------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| The preview shows the general SPAWN card | You pasted the page address. Use the **Share** button instead. |
| The preview shows old artwork | Apps keep previews for a while. It updates by itself. |
| Nothing was copied | Your browser blocked the clipboard. Try again, or use the phone share sheet. |

**Success:** the posted link shows the page's own name and artwork, and opens the page.

### Creator pages and Blink availability

Creator profiles have their own **Copy page link** action at `/creator/<wallet>`. This is a normal public profile link. The separate Solana Blink button is **disabled in the October 12 reviewed build**, following an issue with its external landing page. Do not advertise in-post buy buttons as currently available. Normal token, project and news sharing remains the documented route.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://spawnmeme.gitbook.io/spawnmeme-docs/feature-guides/platform-information/45-share-links.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
